If a hotel business has been run by the same family for more than 250 years and over 9 generations, then it can be said to be a success story.

Its origins lie in the middle of the 18th century, when stagecoaches between Stuttgart and Lake Constance stopped in Ödenwaldstetten - probably to change horses and freight and certainly to gain strength and, if necessary, to spend the night there. And so host qualities emerged and developed, which were inherited and passed on.

Today, two hundred and fifty years later, the Speidel family runs their Hotel Speidel's BrauManufaktur, one of the most successful family-run seminar and meeting houses in southern Germany and also offers a unique experience space with a sustainability guarantee with the experience of the BrauManufaktur.

The secret of success lies in the combination and the present family tradition. Because Speidel's put their craftsmanship and the work opportunities that the historic property offers completely at the service of conference organizers.


The conference rooms impress with their authenticity - they are located in the rooms of the historic brewery and are not only called "Malzlager", "Fasswichs", "Schalander" and "Schroterei", but also reveal the historical structures and original functions. Of course, conference participants do not have to forego working comfort - the house offers modern presentation and communication technology, the rooms are ergonomically furnished and furnished and all have daylight.


The historic part of the hotel is complemented by a log building built in 2005 - a harmonious contrast that draws its fascination from modern architecture, straight lines, exposed concrete and the use of light wood.

But what would a conference stay in this house be without tasting the barley juice?! Brewing seminars are available in three categories - they are moderated and guests are included in the work process.


The kitchen uses regional products expertly - into Swabian classics, for example.



Hosting today has been expanded: the company is part of the “Biosphere Host” cooperation.
