THE BIOSPHERE HOSTS


In the summer of 2010, 18 hotels and restaurants of different sizes and operating structures set out together with the Swabian Alb Biosphere Reserve to guarantee constant further development in terms of quality, service, environmental protection and nature conservation.

As officially recognized partners of the Swabian Alb biosphere region, we are committed to the high quality of our products and services. We feel particularly connected to the landscape, environment and nature of the Swabian Alb biosphere area. We help ensure that natural wealth is preserved for us and our descendants.

The goals of our partnership with the biosphere area are:

  • better information for guests
  • closer cooperation between protected area management and partner companies
  • the establishment of a network with other partners from the region
  • sustainable regional development


Partner initiatives represent close, trusting cooperation between the administration of a protected area (national park, biosphere reserve or nature park) and regionally based companies and associations.
